About Me:
I am a Mechanical Engineer with experience in Design and Design Analysis. Within this realm, my professional engineering skills span the realm of Medical Devices, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Nanotechnology and Clean Technology.
I have a deep rooted interest in entrepreneurship - business and social. I have been involved in consumer robotics and internet start ups.
On the social entrepreneurship end, I have and continue to work in the trenches, volunteering for various organizations. Among other things, in 2001, I founded gre-success, an online group for International students. The group continues to group, with over 1970 members and has accumulated a wealth of mentors, members and knowledge on admission into US programs and other countries.
I am a moderator on the world's largest Molecular Biology Network (Molecular Biology Notebook), and I co-own and operate online free recycling groups for the cities of Mountain View and Palo Alto, California.
I am currently a Board Member on the newly formed Sustainable Methods Institute, and I am an advisor for the Diabetes Hand Foundation ( diabeteshandsfoundation.org/ ).
My qualifications include a Master of Science and the Degree of Engineer from Stanford University. I am a Certified SolidWorks Instructor (CSWI) and a Certified Nanotechnology and Clean technology Professional (CCNP).
For hobbies, I love to travel and engage in photography. I continue to take classes in Photography, Spanish, History and Art.
