Developing the First Law of Trance.
Trance is a constant, naturally occurring as an override function when you focus or concentrate in any way, on anything.

The intensity of your trance states constantly shift and change according to the amount of focus, concentration or interest you are applying to any thought, action or sense at any given time.

In order to think, move and process your senses, your mind automatically enhances signals from actively engaged awareness points, while limiting, narrowing and filtering signals from less active, unengaged awareness points.

From Observation to Theory to Law:

Observation:
Every trance state I have ever witnessed or experienced indicates that an increase in any awareness creates a decrease in all other awarenesss.

Hypothesis:
An increase in any awareness will decrease awareness of all other awareness points.

Tests:
A random sampling of people of varying demographics to participate in awareness exercises and experience reports.

(Ideally these will be the claims and chain of action to follow the tests.)

Publication (not yet published):
"My trance research indicates that any increase in awareness or combination of awarenesss decreases all other points of awareness, wherever and whenever it is observed."

Verification (not yet verified):
Every trance state any other scientist/hypnotherapist/NLP master/yoga master/ or other has ever observed is subject to the same constant, verifying this claim.

Theory (still hypothesis):
Any increase in awareness or combination of awarenesss decreases all other points of awareness.

Prediction:
This is the first law of trance.

It seems to be very obvious in practice of most of people even without realization of this theory/law.
