Changing Inherited Definitions.
Consciousness:
[1] is the awareness of thought.
[2] is also the belief that affirming the existence of thought confirms the existence of reality.

Thought:
[1] The now moment processing of converging awareness points
[2] Thoughts are memory access experiences that reference converging awareness points.

Awareness Points:
[1] The identifiable components of thought.
[2] Isolated and combined sensory signals, movements and virtualizations.

Trance:
[1] A phenomena of focus/concentration/attention, whereby an increase in any awareness point or combination of awareness points decreases all other points of awareness.
[2] Trance occurs as an ambi-conscious override function to manage the juxtaposition of thoughts, regardless of our awareness of the thoughts or functions themselves.

Trance-ology:
[1] is the observation of how the mind processes and manages multiple points of awareness.
[2] Trance is determinable by identifying awareness points that are heightened from awareness points that are filtered.

Trance-ology Research Foundation:
[1] created to explore the phenomena of trance and how the awareness of specialized trance-states can change philosophical, scientific and metaphysical reasoning.

Trance-ologist:
[1] is someone who studies and applies the awareness of trance
[2] is an observer who attempts to identify the properties of trance by determining what is in focus, what has faded out of focus, where focuses can be adjusted and how focuses combine to produce a variety of awareness experiences.

Trance-ography:
[1] is a hypothesis for mapping the variables of past, real time and future trance states. Moving away from limited explanations of trance depth (light, medium, heavy, somnambulism) toward numeric values mapped by analyzing how trance overrides manage the permutations of awareness.

Hypnosis:
[1] verbally guided trance
[2] The act of leading others through awareness exercises.
[3] Acting as an audio awareness point.

Hypnotic:
[1] thoughts or substances that initiate and/or maintain trance override.

Hypnotism:
[1] is the study of verbally guided trance

Hypnotist:
[1] A verbal trance guide.

Hypnotherapist:
[1] A verbal trance guide who uses suggestion and suggestibility tests specifically to attempt to alter thoughts, memories and behaviors.

Mesmerism:
[1] is the study of covert hypnosis and trickery through manipulating trance in unknowing subjects.

Stage Hypnosis:
[1] is the study of covert hypnosis and trickery through manipulating trance in willing participants.

Hypnotize:
[1] the act of verbally guiding someone to initiate and/or sustain trance override.

Hypnotisability:
[1] The assessment of one's ability to remain in a verbally guided trance-state.
[2] the ability to follow the story and stay focused on the audio guide.

Trance-ability:
[1] A self assessment of ones own awareness and control of their unique trance balances.

Self-Hypnosis:
[1] is when you stay on focus by concentrating your awareness on your inner voice
[2] is when you record your own voice and use it as your audio focal point.
