Job Details/Summary:	Title: Associate Scientist Experience Required: 1 - 5 years Responsibilities: · Executing protein analysis projects requiring Separation and Mass Spectrometric Technologies (including 1D and 2D electrophoresis, LC, 2D-LC, ESI, MALDI TOF, and various ion trap based methods, as well as coupled LC MS and LC MS/MS techniques) for industry, academia and government institutions. · Learning new separation, mass spectrometric and multiplex assay technologies from the TVC · Sample preparation · Collecting and reporting results · Executing academic service projects · Assisting with other MONARCH LIFESCIENCES projects · Following SOPs (standard operating procedures) · Continually expanding expertise in all emerging proteomics technologies Qualifications: · Bachelors Degree in Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry (or equivalent) preferably with experience in protein separation and mass spectometric or multiplex assay technologies. The candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: · Protein separation techniques including protein chromatography, and electrophoresis. · Mass spectrometric technologies including expertise in operation and optimization of LC MS or MALDI-TOF instrumentation and methods. · Processing and handling biological samples for protein analysis. · Candidate must also be familiar with relevant data analysis software.
