| Job Details/Summary: | We are seeking a Laboratory Director for our clinical research client to manage and oversee their new bioanalytical laboratory. Direct responsibility includes laboratory staff, budgeting, profit and loss accountability, quality and regulatory compliance. The lab director will oversee a staff of approximately 25. Initially, the Lab Director will serve as a member of the senior management team building the Lab, together with other senior management, including the following duties: � Supervision of the building activities to ensure the lab is built according to specification. � Purchasing, installing and validating equipment to be compliant with regulations � Hiring and training Lab Technicians and personnel � Organizing and completing site qualification Requirements: � Undergraduate degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or similar required � Advanced degree, MBA, PhD or equivalent, or comparable business and management training preferred. � 5+ years experience in developing and operating a bioanalytical laboratory along with an extensive understanding of bioanalysis supporting clinical research |
