| Job Details/Summary: | PRODUCT MANAGER TACTICAL MARKETING (IC) Beckman Coulter develops, manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing. Job Description: Manages the implementation and execution of the marketing plan including support specific sales functions for a specific product or product lines within the operation. The incumbent manages product life cycles and product positioning; implements pricing strategies, develops and implements specific marketing programs to stimulate sales and achieve objectives; monitors competitive activities and identifies customers´ needs; works with other functional areas to develop new products or enhance existing ones; acts as a technical product advisor for assigned products; and ensures the achievement of sales objectives for a specific product or product lines. Qualifications and Experience Prefer direct product management/marketing responsibility for technical, scientific instrumentation and/or reagent products and managed complete product life-cycles. At least 6-10 years of relevant experience (medical diagnostics industry experience highly preferred) Experience and proven track record in marketing and sales Minimum BS degree; MBA preferred Demonstrated understanding and proven track record in facilitating decision making with internal and external leaders and developing creative strategies that achieve results Strong understanding of the strategic selling process Knowledge of biomedical testing and the clinical chemistry industry highly desirable Position may require up to 20% travel Must be a self-starter, with strong execution and leadership skills.
