Internships--Summer 2010

I'm not sure if this necessarily belongs here, but I'm looking for an internship for Summer 2010. I'm interested in working for a local government's department of urban planning or for a company that specializes in environmental consulting. I love Boulder, CO and the San Francisco or Los Angeles areas. Any ideas about possible companies in those areas or local governments with particularly active planning departments?

The primary problem with the places you mention, especially Boulder ... is that EVERYBODY wants to work there.

Consider a less popular location for this kind of work and less poplular work. More options might open up for you and you may learn a lot more ... more about the subject and more about yourself. You are really at the magic time in your life where you should consider anything ... even 6 months at the South Pole if you can get it.

Life is rich in possiblilities and a whole lot of fun. I wish you the best of luck.
