Q&A Forum
Are you following the flood of data from space telescopes and probes?
I find that the firehose-like flood of data coming from nearly 30 space telescopes, 10 or 20 earth-based scopes, and the 20 to 40 active probes and robots operating in Sol-space is really pretty darn difficult to just keep up with (for me as an individual). I know there are teams of scientists all over the world working with one to many of these data streams.
My question (my wonder really) is how many of you out there in science-land are attempting to follow any or all of these? If you are ... impressions? I can tell you that I find the current era a great time to be waking up on this side of the grass, and I doubt I could place my own existence into any better time period.
If you are one of these people, and you are not already a member of the astronomy or physics groups on this site ... why not?
Thanks, John
