Reichert Announces New Brand Name and Logo

Buffalo, New York, USA – April 9, 2010 – Reichert, Inc. today unveils a new brand name and redesigned visual identity – Reichert Technologies. Reichert has been an industry leader for over a century, introducing sophisticated instruments for the field, the laboratory, and for scientific discovery. Reichert created nearly every breakthrough in refractometry technology and its high quality products are known worldwide for accuracy, innovation, and strength. Reichert Technologies Life Sciences and Analytical Instruments will each display its own version of the new logo in all communications.
The new company logos retain the instantly recognizable Reichert typeface and color with the addition of a ‘corporate umbrella’ curve above the name and the word ‘Technologies’ below. “This is the first step in strengthening the Reichert brand, a brand with a rich and respected history in several instrument markets,” explains Tim Levindofske, President and Chief Operating Officer. “Our goal is to expand our product offerings and geographic coverage in these markets.”
Reichert Technologies new branding and logo will be gradually phased in over the coming months. The new design will be used in marketing materials and product labeling, packaging, and website design.
