Release of HyperVision HPV-2 High-Speed Video Camera, Capable of Ultra High-Speed Synchronized Recording with Multiple Cameras at 1 Million FPS

- Controls up to 4 cameras from a single computer -
HPV-2

Shimadzu has released the HyperVision HPV-2 high-speed video camera. In addition to the features offered by the current HPV-1 model, which offers ultra high-speed recording at 1 million frames per second and high resolution at all recording speeds, the HPV-2 allows control of up to 4 cameras from one computer. It now also includes a synchronized recording function that allows simultaneous or intermittent recording at ultra high speeds, which was very difficult with previous systems. Synchronized recording from multiple directions allows analyzing a phenomenon that occurs in a very short time in more detail than ever before. Furthermore, the separate controller unit is now eliminated to allow controlling the camera via USB 2.0 connection to a laptop computer. This makes it more compact and easier to carry, set up, and prepare for recording.
