LABROOTS CUSTOM VIRTUAL EVENT PACKAGES

We understand it’s not one size fits all, so we’ve designed three different packages to help you narrow down your event needs. Labroots custom virtual event packages vary based on the amount of content that your company has to share and whether you’d like to share everything during a 1-2 event, or ongoing.

Let’s start with the crowd favorite - Labroots Persistent Virtual Event. A Persistent Virtual Event with Labroots allows companies to showcase products and research on an ongoing basis. Whether it’s additional webinars or a mini-event launch, content can be added throughout the year, with each addition marketed to target audiences for optimal event attendance.

Persistent Virtual Events include:

1 Main Event Launch

The main event launch sets the tone for the event as a whole. It includes scheduled meetings with an assigned project manager, helping to ensure the event reflects your company’s brand message and highlights your product and/or service adequately.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

By participating in our virtual events and webinars, you can earn Continuing Education credits. Each event offers different educational credits based on the content of the event and the eligibility of the presentation. Please see below for the types of CE’s offered.

Professional Acknowledgment for Continuing Education (P.A.C.E.)

All laboratory professionals who are licensed or certified need continuing education (CE). Some employers also require CE in addition to or in place of those requirements. This includes all Medical Laboratory Scientists, formerly Clinical Laboratory Scientists or Medical Technologists (known as MLSs, CLSs, or MTs); all Medical Laboratory Technicians, formerly Clinical Laboratory Technicians (known as MLTs or CLTs); and some Phlebotomy Technicians or PBTs. Typically, they need 12 contact hours per year to meet most requirements. Labroots is an approved provider of P.A.C.E. CE credits through the ASCLS. P.A.C.E. CE credits are acceptable in all states and countries except for Florida, USA. We are an approved provider of Florida CE’s through the State of Florida CE Broker. P.A.C.E. CE credits are available during the presentations enduring (on-demand) period and expire after 2 years from the date of the live broadcast.

Continuing Education Unit (CEU)

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) earned through NSGC-approved educational opportunities will be accepted by the American Board of Genetic Counseling for purposes of Genetic Counselor recertification. Labroots works with the NSGC to provide Category 1 CEUs. The NSGC grants a CEU for all educational programs with content targeted specifically to genetic counselors (10 hours of presentation are equivalent to 1 Category 1 CEU). Following the CEU approved presentation, an attendee will be required to take a quiz of the presentation and pass it (pass no fail), as well as fill out an evaluation and submit a $25 fee, to receive their CEU certificate. These certificates are processed and provided by the NSGC. A CEU credit is available during the presentations enduring (on-demand) period and expires after 2 years from the date of the live broadcast.

American Association of Veterinary State Boards Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE)

Veterinarians must certify that they have completed a certain number of hours of approved continuing education to renew their license to practice veterinary medicine. Typically, they need 36 hours per year to meet requirements. Labroots is a provider of R.A.C.E. through the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB). Following the CE-approved presentation, an attendee will be required to fill out an evaluation of the presentation to receive their CE certificate. These certificates are processed and provided by Labroots. R.A.C.E. CE credits are available during the presentations enduring (on-demand) period and expire after 2 years from the date of the live broadcast.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

This credit refers to a specific form of continuing education that helps those in the medical field maintain competence and learn about new and developing areas of their field. Content for these programs is developed, reviewed, and delivered by faculty who should be experts in their individual clinical areas. Medical professionals are required to obtain CME’s to maintain their licenses. Labroots works with CME Accreditors to provide CME’s. The webinar (and its speakers) must be planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA). The CME Accreditors grant a CME for all educational programs with content targeted specifically to the medical field. For those presentations approved for CME’s, click on the link provided and you will be directed to complete a short quiz before claiming your continuing education credits. After passing the quiz, you will be directed to email the accredited provider for processing your CME certificate. A CME credit is available during the presentations enduring (on-demand) period and expires after 2 years from the date of the live broadcast.
