Adam and Eve were designed by God to be full vegetarians and os how little need for cooked foods - and cooking would have caused some pollution in the Garden of Eden

It is well known that chimps use simple tools, even make such tools, to get to palatable food. Nonetheless, I was astonished to read about their cooking behaviour. On that note, I was wondering, how did they figure out at what time the food was done best? That would invoke perception of time. Or did the provided cooking device have an inbuilt timer?
I wonder, whether chimps could actually also be trained to make out a given length of time based on a clock.
