Date:  March 1, 2022
Time: 9:00am (PST),  12:00pm (EST)
Abstract
This webinar describes methods that are recommended to standardize the detection and measurement of the monoclonal proteins in different laboratories. A monoclonal gammopathy is any disorder marked by proliferation of an abnormal clone (or clones) of a plasma cell or B cell  in the bone marrow resulting in an abnormal increase of proteins in the blood serum and urine.

Learning Objectives:
  • To explain why guidelines were needed for the initial detection of monoclonal proteins
  • To apply standardized M-protein detection in laboratories
  • To describe how to use rFLC, isotype and M-protein concentration to identify high risk patients

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
