According to the National Trauma Institute, trauma accounts for 41 million emergency room visits and 2.3 million hospital admissions annually in the US resulting in an overall annual economic burden of $671 billion in healthcare costs and productivity losses.  This educational presentation will outline the clinical issues along with the diagnostics and treatment practices enabling participants to learn how to implement these practices in their local settings
