      Gabrielle earned her BSMT from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. She has managed clinical laboratories ranging from small satellite laboratories to specialized laboratory sections in large metropolitan hospitals. Gabrielle worked for Poudre Valley Health System for 10 years, was a Technical Support Specialist for Diagnostica Stago for 2 years, followed by managing the hematology section at Children's Hospital Colorado for 5 years. Gabrielle is currently the Sr. Manager of Core Laboratory Operations at Children's Hospital Colorado. She lives in Parker, CO and enjoys spending her time with her family and 2 wire haired miniature dachshunds.

    Does one size really fit all?  Selection, performance and interpretation of laboratory tests for pediatric patients presents a significant daily challenge for clinicians, medical directors and laboratorians.  This presentation of particularly interesting cases by a laboratory supervisor at a children’s hospital will demonstrate clinical applications in which coagulation testing made a positive impact in diagnosis and management, and increased the incidence of favorable outcomes for young patients.
