Does one size really fit all? Selection, performance and interpretation of laboratory tests for pediatric patients presents a significant daily challenge for clinicians, medical directors and laboratorians. This presentation of particularly interesting cases by a laboratory supervisor at a children’s hospital will demonstrate clinical applications in which coagulation testing made a positive impact in diagnosis and management, and increased the incidence of favorable outcomes for young patients.
