Abstract
Multiplexed tissue analysis is a powerful technique that allows comparisons of cell-type locations and cell-type interactions within a single fixed tissue sample. It is common for researchers to ask these questions before a multiplexing study begins: "How do I know what biomarkers are relevant in the tissue? Also, how do I pivot towards additional biomarkers as my research questions evolve?" Smart study design can help answer existing questions and enable continued exploration of new connections that weren’t immediately obvious at the beginning of the study. Multiplexed IF imaging can replace historical immunohistochemical staining, allowing researchers to explore more in-depth questions on the same piece of tissue. This exploration doesn't have to stop when the study ends. As research progresses, new discoveries of relationships can result in new hypotheses and additional biomarker analysis can be layered upon existing biomarker imaging data, even months or years later. Choosing the right multiplexed solution can have a huge impact on the success of your research. The solution must be adaptable as researchers cannot be hindered by years of validation. The workflow must employ a gentle process and be tissue preserving, so biomarkers added later in the study are encountering the same tissue quality as those used earlier in the study. Cell DIVE is a proven and trusted multiplexed imaging solution that meets these requirements and more.
