Chris Hadfield is a man of many talents. Not only was he a Royal Air Force pilot and engineer, he also flew on two space shuttle missions and was eventually commander of the International Space Station Expedition 35. On that mission he supervised a crew of 5 astronauts conducting experiments on the effects of low gravity on human biology. Once on the ground and retired, Hadfield authored a book about his life entitled: An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth: What Going to Space Taught Me About Ingenuity, Determination, and Being Prepared for Anything

One of his favourite pastimes on the ISS was to play guitar and sing. His famous version of David Bowie's Space Oddity was shown around the world. Hadfield decided to collect all of the songs he'd recorded and written while in space and now has an album out "Space Sessions: Songs from a Tin Can." Check out the video to see a news piece from Hadfield's native Canada about his new album.
