Here's How Astronauts Feel About Seeing the Earth From Above
2 9 1003

Unless you're an astronaut, you probably don't get to see Earth from up above. Astronauts get a good view of the Earth from the International Space Station, and every single day, they watch the Earth rotate beneath their feet.

In this video, you'll hear four famous astronauts talk about their experience with seeing the Earth under the feet while they were in space. Helen Sharman, Daniel Tani, Michael Barratt and Jean-Francois Clervoy each talk about just how fascinating the experience was.

The Earth is described as something you'd see out of the Window, and would have to stop and glance at, or take pictures of. It's also something that never gets old to look at, even 6 months into a space trip.

Not everyone gets to see the Earth from this perspective, but it makes you realize just how tiny we really are in this massive universe.
