What We Can Expect From Space Exploration in 2016
2 11 1026

Space exploration in 2015 was far from empty-handed. We learned a lot about various plants in our solar system last year. Among some of the most important findings were seeing Pluto up close in the successful New Horizons fly-by mission, and discovering flowing water on the surface of Mars.

In 2016, space exploration will continue, and scientists are excited to continue learning more about not only our solar system, but also about what's going on deep in outer space.

We will be launching several spacecrafts this year that allow us to see more of what we haven't seen with past or current spacecrafts and equipment. Among some of the things that we'll be taking a look at are Jupiter, with a dedicated probe designed to check for water in the gas planet's atmosphere, as well as a space telescope designed to look for X-Rays, which are invisible from the Earth's atmosphere.

Indeed, there is much to learn, and 2016 is going to be yet another great year for space exploration and learning more about why we're here.
