Snake Trapped in Endless Loop of its Own Shedded Skin

This month played host for a rather embarrassing event for a snake at the Alice Springs Reptile Center in Alice Springs, Australia.

The snake, a Stimson's Python which went by the name of Stimmy, had been in the midst of shedding when it found itself trapped in an endless loop of its own skin.

There is still some confusion has to how or why the snake ended up in this infinite loop, but it's said the snake endured the infinite loop for as long as three hours before finally making its own hole in the skin and slithering out of the skin shed.

"It actually looks like a steering wheel," the Alice Springs Reptile Center said in a statement.

The video shows the snake actually slithering around in circles inside of the skin, and it's slightly amusing.
