If you care about the environment and about your body, too, you may want to consider learning how to make some of your own body products. Deodorant is a good place to start because there are so many simple and diverse recipes to try out in order to see what works for your unique body. The following video demonstrates how to make a deodorant that eliminates body odor (it is not an antiperspirant).

To mix up this cost-effective, fast-to-make, chemical-free and eco-friendly deodorant, you will need two tablespoons of arrowroot powder, one tablespoon of baking soda, one tablespoon of coconut oil, and one tablespoon of shea butter. Put all of the ingredients together in a bowl and melt them together over a double boiler for several minutes until they mix into a smooth texture. Add 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil to make your deodorant smell nice. Then pour the mixture into a jar and put it into the fridge for 10-20 minutes to harden. Now apply whenever you need some help to smell good!
