Watch NASA Prepare Parts of the Mars 2020 Rover in 360º

NASA's Mars 2020 rover continues to be a work in progress, but have you ever wondered how NASA puts it all together?

A lot of the magic happens at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and a recently-published 360-degree YouTube video shows us a sneak peek at some of the behind-the-scenes assembly work concerning the Mars 2020 rover.

The engineers wear full bunny suits to prevent any microbes from their bodies from encountering the Mars 2020 rover components. If they did, then it would contaminate the Martian surface with Earthly microbes and trigger false positives when Mars 2020 begins its search for life.

A lot of tedious measurements and assembly go into creating the final product, but it's sure to be worth it by the time Mars 2020 finally makes it to the red planet to begin scientific research.
