Kalle Ljung recently took a trip to Antarctica lasting approximately 16 days where he was able to use a flying drone to capture more than 250 minutes of breath-taking footage showing the beauty of Antarctica.
Among some of the beautiful sights in the footage include the ice floating atop the blue waters, the incredible heights of the naturally formed ice mountains, and the birds-eye view of the videographer in the middle of the icy world.
Drone technology is an emerging technology right now that offers a new way to capture high definition video from way up above. Although certain drones have varying battery life, a quick recharge will have you flying again in no time at all.
The videographer notes that he used a DJI Phantom 2 drone and GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition to film the adventure.
I think I'll head to the store and get myself one of those now.
