Welcome to the 30th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Exposure Science, ISES2020 - Changing Exposure, Climate, and Health: From Science to Policy. At a time when exposure science is increasingly recognized for its critical utility to public health, this meeting provides a platform for information sharing, networking, and facilitating discussions around exposure science and related fields in the context of the changing environment, including those challenges posed by the COVID19 pandemic.
This meeting is, of course, also our Society’s first fully virtual meeting. While we are not able to meet in person this year, we are excited to hold this year’s meeting in this immersive virtual platform with a variety of mechanisms to communicate and engage with each other. ISES2020 offers a robust program of platform presentations and plenaries. Some sessions will be fully live, others have live elements, but even our pre-recorded sessions promote live interaction during broadcasts via embedded chat functionality.
To best accommodate presenters and participants the world over, our live program is being run in parallel sessions across expanded hours each day, starting as early as 6 AM PST. While we encourage live participation, scientific program content will be available to registrants for a one-year period following the meeting.
