Abstract
Single-cell ATAC-seq (Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin using sequencing, scATAC-seq) is a relatively new and powerful technique that allows researchers to identify open chromatin regions and provides insight into the regulation of gene expression in individual cells. It has proven to be valuable for the study of cancer cell heterogeneity, understanding the regulatory landscape of individual cells, and exploring the molecular mechanisms underlying development and disease progression.

This webinar will focus on scATAC-seq applications for deciphering pediatric cancer cell heterogeneity. Fatima Valdes Mora, Ph.D., at Children's Cancer Institute, UNSW, will discuss how she has utilized scATAC-seq to study childhood cancers. Learn about her approach to investigating heterogeneity of tumor-infiltrating immune cells in different tumor states and hear tips and tricks for overcoming technical challenges associated with difficult samples in scATAC-seq workflows.

Join this state-of-the-art webinar to learn how scATAC-seq analysis can expand and deliver greater insights to your cancer research.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand scATAC-seq technology and how it is used to study cancer cell heterogeneity
  • Describe how minimal/measurable residual disease (MRD) can be used to define the extent of cancer remission.
  • Explain the recent paradigm shift in our understanding of chemoresistance that explains how cancer cells avoid cell death.
  • List strategies that can be used with difficult sample types to maximize scATAC-seq profiles.

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
