Expression, Purification and Characterization of Difficult to Express Membrane Proteins in the Expi293 and ExpiCHO Expression Systems: Case study of Potassium chloride co-transporter KCC2

Speaker

Event Date & Time
DATE:   September 25, 2019
TIME:    8:00am PDT, 11:00am EDT
Abstract
This talk will focus on strategies for optimizing expression levels of membrane proteins using the Gibco™ Expi293™ and ExpiCHO™ Expression Systems. Additionally, there will be an introduction to newly developed Expi293 GNTI- and inducible cell lines, which can be combined with CALIXAR's patented technology, to improve quality and quantity of challenging membrane proteins. A case study of potassium chloride co-transporter (KCC2) production and characterization will be further described

Learning Objectives:
  • Understand techniques to optimize expression levels of membrane proteins
  • Understand how to improve quality and quantity of challenging membrane proteins using Expi293 GNTI- and inducible cell lines

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
