The automation in the Forensic Genetics Laboratory of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Sonora has made it possible to improve productivity by optimizing the execution time of tasks, eliminating possible human errors and possible cross contamination that can be committed when working manually. DNA quantification and STR normalization processes on the Microlab Nimbus platform are constant and without variability compared to the results obtained manually by the personnel.
