Dr. Jeffrey Tang is the Senior Global Axon Electrophysiology Application Scientist at Molecular Devices. With over 10 years of experience working with Axon Instruments® products, he has been pivotal in various product breakthroughs and improvements, including the development of HumSilencer™ technology and pCLAMP Software development. Jeffrey received his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics from Vanderbilt University. After his Ph.D., he held postdoc positions at UC Berkeley and UCSF. His research interests include investigating the mechanism of synaptic plasticity in striatum, studying the modulation of calcium channel by metabotropic glutamate receptors, and examining the role of NR2B-containing NMDA receptor in alcohol addiction.
