The rise in the need for greener energy has led to more R&D into long lfe batteries, typically using Lithium ion technology.  This presentation will look at the uses of IC with mass spectrometry and speciation with IC-ICP-MS as a valuable tool in researching raw materials  and in QA testing  to identify trace contaminants in lithium ion batteries.
