Many immunological technologies are only as good as the antibody being used for antigen detection. As such, there is enormous value with providing the scientific and medical communities with the assurance that the antibody is detecting the target antigen and is suitable for their specific application. In this video, Mathias Uhlen and the Human Protein Atlas are aiming to address this challenge by defining enhanced antibody validation techniques to provide the community with better antibody characterization standards.
