WRITTEN BY: Carmen Leitch

In this short video from Baylor College of Medicine, get some tips about keeping yourself safe from germs that may be contaminating your gym, and getting on you and your stuff. Obviously people sweat at the gym, and when they do bacteria and microbes from their bodies can get onto surfaces and equipment. Some common infections can occur because of these microbes, like staph infections.

Stay tuned for the remainder of the video, featuring Dr. Irvin Sulapas, an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor. He has some tips to keep your body healthy during your workout as well.
