The Strangest Flying Machines

The 20th century was filled with strange flying machines, here are a couple 1. The Caspian Sea Monster, one of the largest planes in the world to fly in 1966 2. The Avrocar, a prototype for a planned supersonic saucer 3. M2-F1, a giant engineered machine that could fly without wings 4. The HZ-1, an aerocycle flying machine developed in the mid-1950s by de Lackner Helicopters also known as the YHO-2 and was an American one-man "personal helicopter". 5. Gossamer Albatross, which was a human-powered aircraft built by American aeronautical engineer Dr. Paul B. MacCready's company AeroVironment.
