Can You Be Allergic To Your Wifi?

WRITTEN BY: Kara Marker

Our society is becoming more and more mobile every year. With more demand for wireless internet access, increased amounts of sources for these electromagnetic fields are built all the time. However, could increasing exposure to these fields be detrimental to public health?

In this video, a woman describes various health problems she claims are because of close proximity to electronic devices connected to an electromagnetic field. This phenomenon is now referred to as "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" (EHS).

Individuals reporting a sensitivity to electromagnetic fields often claim to be experiencing redness and tingling of the skin, burning sensations, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, digestive disturbances, and other minor problems.

Although the World Health Organization acknowledges these common symptoms of people claiming to be suffering from the disorder, the WHO also states: "EHS is not a medical diagnosis."
