Watch This Diver Balance a Shark on its Nose

WRITTEN BY: Anthony Bouchard

Here you'll see a diver appear to ‘balance' a shark on its nose while the shark appears to voluntarily allow the diver to do so. Normal people would think that the shark would be trying to bite the diver, but the diver has something else in mind…

By using metal chainmail gloves and gently stroking the shark's nose, the diver is able to stimulate the part of the shark's nose that senses electrical signals. As a result, it puts the shark in somewhat of a submissive and hibernated state.

This is done by an experienced shark stroker, so this is something something you want to try at home. It wouldn't be a very good idea for someone who doesn't know what they're doing to put their lives at risk, as sharks are known to attack people in many situations.
