WEBINAR: Contamination Control in the Hydraulic Industry

  • Owner and Lead Instructor of
As the owner of, Rob develops and conducts training that extends the life of hydraulic components, reduces hydraulic-related down time, and improves the productivity of hydraulic equipment.

Rob has a wide range of experience designing and troubleshooting hydraulic circuitry. He earned the Fluid Power Society's "Fluid Power Specialist" certification in 1987. His circuit design work has been featured in "Hydraulics & Pneumatics" magazine.

Rob's education, training, and "hands on" experience allow him to provide hydraulicrelated training that is interesting, understandable, relavant, and useful.

The father of three, Rob spent many years coaching youth sports. He finds providing "on target" hydraulic training to be much easier than teaching a team of 6 year-olds to stay in their assigned positions on a soccer field.

Contamination is the #1 cause of hydraulic component failure, being responsible for an estimated 60% to 75% of all problems in a typical hydraulic system.

Learn how contamination affects hydraulic components, how much you can save by controlling
contamination, and 3 ways to deal with contamination in your hydraulic systems.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Learn how the #1 cause of hydraulic component failure affects hydraulic components.
    • Learn how to extend hydraulic component life and reduce down time.
    • Learn the requirements for hydraulic fluid cleanliness.
