Abstract

During this session, I will discuss a simple yet often underappreciated method for improving operational efficiency when growing cannabis in controlled environments.  In particular, cannabis yields can be substantially increased by allocating space more efficiently between vegetation and flowering rooms.  To accomplish this, the grower needs to identify and monitor several factors that change as the business changes, like their growing technology and strategy, plant genetics, government regulation, and labor costs.

Learning Objective:

  • What is the basic process of growing cannabis indoors
  • How do factors like plant genetics, growing strategy, and government regulation impact the most efficient way to allocate space inside and indoor cannabis farm
