Abstract
Multicolor flow cytometry is beneficial because it allows us to gain deeper insights from a given biological sample, with fewer repeat markers in each tube and quicker results. In this three-part webinar series, we will identify the fundamental principles of panel design. In the first webinar, we showed how sample biology can inform fluorochromes choice. In the second, we demonstrated the effects of spillover/spread on data and how to overcome them. In the final webinar, we will focus on the instrument-related factors that can influence panel design. We will demonstrate how the basic principles of panel design can be applied to troubleshoot the flow cytometry panels in your lab.

Learning Objectives:
  • Identify the instrument-related factors that impact panel design
  • Explain the steps involved in standardization of instruments and panels
  • Use the panel design rules to troubleshoot existing panels

Sign up for the other webinars in this series on September 26th and October 12th:

Flow cytometry enables simultaneous analysis of multiple markers at the single-cell level. With the increase in number of detectable parameters, the design of a multicolor panel can be challenging and requires an understanding of several factors that can influence panel performance. This three-part webinar series will cover the basic pillars of panel design and standardization:

Biology—how antigen density and co-expression can affect fluorochrome choice
Fluorochrome—how spillover spread can be predicted and mitigated
Instrument—how instrument standardization can influence data resolution

Make sure to join all three talks in the series to learn how you can troubleshoot existing panels in your clinical flow cytometry lab.

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-deamnd viewing after live event.
