While mixology is an evolving science, brew masters have been around for centuries – millennia even! As early as 3,400 BC, Sumerians were the first people to brew and enjoy their spirts and honoring Ninkasi, the patron goddess of brewing.

Today we have a greater understanding of the role of alcohol and its relationship with the brain, including what happens to our memories, decision making process, and even perceiving danger around us. Not to mention the health benefits of a moderate intake of alcohol, like an increase in brain function and a decrease of chronic illnesses.
