Toronto Zoo Footage Shows Giant Panda Cubs Hysterically Falling Over Again and Again

WRITTEN BY: Anthony Bouchard

Toronto Zoo recently shared this compilation footage that showcases captive giant panda cubs as they hysterically tumble about inside of their enclosure. As it would seem, these butter-fingered little creatures have a tough time keeping their grip on the things they climb around on.

According to Toronto Zoo, a study conducted in 2003 found that falling and tumbling is entirely normal behavior for a giant panda cub to display. In fact, some might say it's a part of their natural, playful behavior when around their mothers.

While these tumbles might look like they would leave a bruise behind, rest assured that the creatures have robust bodies made to endure it. In the wild, giant panda cubs sometimes fall great heights out of trees without sustaining any injuries. These insignificant falls in the zoo's enclosure are child's play in comparison.

As soon as March of 2018, these clumsy giant panda cubs will be sent off to Calgary Zoo, where they'll entertain new eyes.
