In this first event of the “Precision medicine in oncology” series, Dr Taniere (Pathologist, University Hospitals Birmingham, UK) and Dr Paz-Ares (Medical Oncologist, Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Madrid Spain) will share insights on the state of the art both in terms of biomarker testing, and clinical utility of the use of immunotherapy as a multi-disease treatment option. They will explore across different oncological diseases, the importance of biomarkers such as PD-L1, MMR/MSI and TMB for immunotherapy response and explain what patient criteria mandate biomarker testing in advance of prescribing.
