LabRoots' virtual events are the world's largest online-only conference series focused on the life sciences, laboratory animal sciences and clinical diagnostics communities exclusively online. These online conferences offer much of what an attendee would see at a physical conference including continuing education credits, networking opportunities with thought leaders in their field, presentations by industry experts, as well as browse the exhibit and poster halls. All without the cost and hassle of travel.
LabRoots produces virtual events on a dynamic platform, offering seamless learning across all desktop and mobile devices.
You can now interact and engage like never before on our new platform! Implemented with new gamification features and leaderboard point system, you can network, learn and connect with new colleagues earning points as you move around the virtual event hall.
To register for any upcoming virtual event, use the menu bar at the top of any page on the LabRoots site. Click "Virtual Event" and select the one you wish to register for.
Please note that Virtual Events are no longer supported for Internet Explorer. They are best experienced on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Safari.
Once you are on the virtual event page, you will see a large button to "Go to Event." This will take you to the virtual lobby of the event. From there you can access speaker presentations, booths in the exhibit hall and go through poster submissions in the poster hall.
To get to the virtual event page, hover over the 'Virtual Events' tab in the top menu on the site; live events are listed first, followed by up-coming events. Click on the live event you wish to join.
Each virtual event is avialable on-demand a couple of months following the live component is complete.
You can participate in the virtual on-demand by going to the event page where you will see a "Watch On Demand" button. Clicking that will take you to the virtual lobby of the event were you can access speaker presentations, booths in the exhibit hall and go through poster submissions in the poster hall.
Once you are on the virtual event page, you will see a large button to "Go to Event" for a live event, or a "Watch On Demand" button for virtual events that are no longer live. Clicking this will take you to the virtual lobby of the event. From there you can access the exhibit hall; from there you can click on any booth, read materials and chat in real-time during live events.

Once you are on the virtual event page, you will see a large button to "Go to Event" for a live event, or a "Watch On Demand" button for virtual events that are no longer live. Clicking this will take you to the virtual lobby of the event. From there you can access the poster hall; from there you can click on categories to peruse the posters and watch videos submitted by poster authors.

As part of the virtual event overview, you will see a "Call For Posters," accompanied by a link. That link will take you to the submission form and instructions to submit your poster abstract. A member of the LabRoots team will notify you when it has been accepted and will provide further details on submitting your poster for the virtual event.

The virtual briefcase is a easy way to gather information recieved during a virtual event. There are two ways to add documents to you briefcase. The first is to click on the "Resource Center" when you're in the looby of the virtual event. There you will see a series of categories such as data sheets, white papers, brouchures, etc. Hovering over domuments of interest you will see a small breifcase icon to the right; clicking that icon will automatically add that document to your briefcase.
Another way to add documents to you briefcase is by visiting sponsored booths in the exhibit hall. Once you are inside a booth, you can click to find literature, which can then be added to your briefcase by clicking on the small briefcase icon.
You can always view what's in your briefcase by clicking on the small briefcase icon at the top of the virtual event environment.
