CD16 effector cells are purified and expressed human cytotoxic T lymphocytes stably expressing CD16 (FcaRIIIa; V158 variant) and are produced in standardized batches. These cells have been developed for antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) applications, where batch-to-batch variability is less demanding, such as the batch release of therapeutic antibodies.
