CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
By participating in our virtual events and webinars, you can earn Continuing Education and/or Continuing Medical Education credits. Each event offers different educational credits based on the content of the event and the eligibility of each individual presentation.
To earn educational credits, you must view an entire presentation. Following the presentation, you must click on the educational credit link provided for that particular speaker and follow the required process. Once you have completed the process, you will receive a certificate for the educational credit. If you have any questions, please send an email to email@example.com or call +1-714-930-3518.
CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) CREDITS
For presentations accredited for CE credits through P.A.C.E.®, click on the link provided and you will be directed to a form on the LabRoots website. You will be asked to do an evaluation of the speaker for confirmation of your attendance of the presentation. You will then be provided a certificate that can be printed out for your records.
CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) CREDITS
For those presentations accredited for CME’s through CME Consultants, you will first be required to complete a short quiz before claiming your continuing education credits. The quiz takes only about 5 minutes to complete and contains 3 or 4 multiple-choice or true/false questions about the presentation. After passing the quiz, you will be directed to email CME Consultants for processing of your CME certificate.
GENETICS COUNSELORS CEU ACCREDITATION
Future events will be submitted to the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) for approval of Category 1 CEUs. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) accepts CEUs approved by NSGC for purposes of recertification. Approval for the requested CEUs and Contact Hours is currently pending.
The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) promotes the professional interests of genetic counselors and provides a network for professional communication. Local and national continuing education opportunities and the discussion of all issues relevant to human genetics and the genetic counseling profession are an integral part of membership in NSGC. The American Board of Genetic Counseling, certifies genetic counselors and accredits genetic counseling training programs. The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC)is the professional membership association for the genetic counseling profession.
Once an event has been approved by the NSGC to offer CEU’s, you will be required to follow a process which includes 1) completing a proof of attendance for those presentations you attended and the number of CEU’s you are requesting 2) paying a processing fee of $25.
RACE CERTIFICATION CREDITS CEU CERTIFICATION
Continuing education credits will be offered at our annual Laboratory Animal Science Virtual Conference.
Our Lab Animal Science sessions meet the requirements for Continuing Education Units (CEU) of American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) and Canadian Association for Laboratory Animal Science (CALAS). Selected topics meet Academy of Surgical Research (ASR) requirements of CEUs.
The LAS Program has been reviewed and approved for continuing education credits by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) with approval for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
Please note that Industry Track presentations will not qualify for CEUs.
