Creative Biolabs developed and successfully established human CD16a (158F) (Luc) reporter cell line. The cells have been engineered to express not only the NFAT response elements that drive the luciferase expression system, but also express full length human CD16a (158F) receptor that can be used to assess the ADCC activity of antibodies. CD16a-158F has a lower affinity for IgG1 and IgG3 isoforms compared to CD16a-158V.
