Spring 2022 Labroots Travel

Spring 2022 Labroots Travel Scholarship

This scholarship welcomes applicants enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree to apply for funding to offset costs associated with travel for academic pursuits in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field.

Travel to academic conferences, or for research, is often a required part of being a student. However, flights, hotels, membership fees, and even rental cars can be a significant financial burden on students at all degree levels.

The 2022 Labroots Travel Scholarship will provide $1000 to one undergraduate or graduate student to directly offset the travel costs during the Spring conference season. The scholarship is merit-based and applicants should describe their intended academic travel plans in the application process.

Labroots supports undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in STEM disciplines. This program is open to students both in, and outside the US; there are no geographical limits for applicants. Labroots wishes to encourage all students to stay in science and aims to help students work towards their research and educational goals
