How can we help you?

Profiles

The Labroots experience starts with your profile, where you are able to customize details about yourself including your academic background, job, and latest publications.

Your Labroots profile is where you can edit the information other Labroots members see about you. You can customize your profile by adding a photo, listing your work experience and expertise, and adding information about your research. You can manage your poster and scholarship submissions, edit privacy settings, access account settings and notifications, view registered events, and access any continuing education credits or leaderboard points that you have accrued from your profile.

Once you're logged into the Labroots site, click on your profile picture or avatar in the top right corner of any page of the Labroots site to reach your profile page. From there you can click on any category you wish to edit. Each editable section will have a small pencil in the top right corner. By clicking on the pencil icon, you can edit or add to your name and title, summary, contact and other information, education, and experience.

To manage your newsletter subscriptions, hover over your profile picture or avatar in the top right-hand corner of the Labroots website and select 'Manage Email Subscriptions.' From there, simply check or uncheck the newsletters you'd like to receive, and click 'Save Changes'.

We understand that your privacy is very important to you. Navigate to your privacy settings by clicking the hamburger menu to the right of about on your profile page, then click 'Privacy'. Here you will see a list of options regarding what information from your profile is visible to other users, and what remains private. The options you select will be green; simply check or uncheck the privacy settings you wish you apply to your Labroots account. Once you've made the desired changes, click "Save".
