    Climate crisis

The climate crisis refers to global warming and other environmental changes caused by factors such as deforestation, fossil fuel consumption, and carbon dioxide emission. The term began being used widely in 2020 by environmental scientists in the context of the impacts of climate change, including extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and the global ice melt.
