    Animal training

Animal training is the act of teaching an animal specific responses to conditions/stimuli. Training can be for companionship, detection, protection, or entertainment. The type of training a specific animal recieves varies depending on the training goal (i.e., a seeing eye dog will be trained differently than a dog on a police force).
