10Panx is a mimetic inhibitory peptide of panx1. It blocks pannexin-1 gap junctions, inhibits p2x7-mediated dye uptake, atp-mediated il-1_ release and caspase-1 activation, but does not alter membrane current in macrophages in vitro.
