Advanced Laparoscopic General Surgery
Laparoscopic surgeries are minimally invasive procedures performed by making multiple small incisions around the abdomen. The tools needed for the surgery are inserted through the incisions allowing for much less tissue damage than other surgeries. Often surgeons will insert a tiny camera which projects the inside of the body on a monitor assisting them in visualizing the procedure.
